Think Ability
I originally designed this poster for a Missouri state poster competion with the theme of showing ability ratber than the disability of handicap people. I spent a few days trying to think of the perfect metaphor. There was only one medaphor with multiple ways of showing itódespite being broken it still works. This over use madeit cliché. I dropped this idea and went with a straight forward amazing displayof
ability. The white type at the top states, "On November 5, 1999, over 200 people transformed their disabilities into abilities when they completed the New York City Marathon." There after is a list of each person and his/her time. This poster has been selected to be shown in
ICOGRADA's international social poster competion. It will also be one of two student posters printed in the show's cataloge.
