MISSION STATEMENT
Catholic Charismatic Renewal
Archdiocese of St. Louis

The Catholic Charismatic Renewal of St. Louis's mission statement is to offer a visible, audible, accessible, and worshipping presence within the Catholic church in the St. Louis Archdiocese. This presence testifies to the lifegiving, healing, and unifying power of the Holy Spirit in our lives. We are to share this awareness of the presence and active power of the Holy Spirit with our brothers and sisters by our personal witness "to knit God's holy people together for the work of service to build up the Body of Christ." (Eph. 4:12 NJB)

We are committed to fostering the personal experience of Pentecost within the whole church by:

ý committing ourselves to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior through the release of the Holy Spirit; growing in the use of the charismatic gifts; and maturing in holiness within our heritage of Catholic faith and practice.

ý deepening our awareness of being the Body of Christ in communities of faith and love.

ý fostering a deep understanding of Sacred Scripture as handed down to us in the lived experience of the Church.

ý witnessing to the personal love of Jesus through our own testimonies and our words of mercy and justice, within our environments and wherever the Lord may lead us.

ý providing resources, both materials and personal giftedness, that can offer opportunities for educational amd spiritual growth.

ý cooperating with our Christian brothers and sisters in all that is truly-ecumenical to promote Christian unity and evangelization.

ý promoting a better awareness of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal among the people of the Archdiocese of St. Louis and by cooperating with the national/international Catholic Charismatic Renewal.

ý encouraging and developing the healing and spiritual ministries.

ý providing an organizational structure and a gathering place that will provide unity among all those who accept and support our goals with time, talent and treasure.

It is our conviction that all the Lord has given us in not meant to be "put under a bushel basket but to be placed on the lampstand where it gives light for all to see." (Mt 5:15) We are called to use all the gifts we have by sharing them with our brothers and sisters. "The gift you have received, give as a gift." (Mt 10:8)jonahwhale.jpg

THE JONAH FOUNDATION,
Healing and Deliverence Ministry
schedule

This ministry is directed to those experiencing blockages or bondages.

There are individuals who experience an inability to overcome a fear, anxiety, resentment, habitual sin, or compulsion even though their minds understand that such conduct is not right, their heart's desire is to do what is right and their wills have decided to act righteously. The energy of evil spirits may be at work in such circumstances.

The goal of this ministry is to help lead such persons into freedom through healing/ deliverance prayer.

This ministry is a group of Christians committed to accepting the commission Jesus gave to His Church:

"He summoned the Twelve and gave them power and authority over all demons and to cure diseases, and he sent them to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal the sick." (Lk.9: 1-2)

This group constantly seeks openness to the guidance of the Holy Spirit in exercising this commission.

JONAH TEAMS
Jonah teams are parish-based, parish-oriented and parish- initiated ministries trained by the Archdiocesan Coordinator, Ramona Neumann under the direction of the Healing and Deliverance Office.  The purpose of Jonah Teams is to offer opportunity after weekend Masses for team prayer with anyone who wishes it.  The times and spaces of the prayer are decided at the parish.
